About SFI Fellowship Programme
• Initiation, development and implementation of internationally peer reviewed programmes;
• Post-award management of SFI investments;• Specification, design and implementation of the IT
awards management system;• Administration of grants;• Liaising with Industry partners and others;• General office experience.
The purpose of the programme is to provide successful candidates with opportunity to develop their career through experiencing and participating in the diversity of activities carried out by a funding agency, including
The duration of the award is up to 2 years.
Awards will be made to suitable candidates who wish to gain experience in the following areas:
• EU Affairs
• Policy (Performance Improvement)
• Pre-Award
• Post-Award
About SFI Fellowship Programme
Who can apply?
currently working in a relevant research administrative office of an eligible Research body
The applicant will be either:
currently funded through an SFI award
Researcher with less than 3 months left on their research project with an eligible Research Body
Team member
Member of staff
Eligibility criteria
Must be in position to
PhD degreeor equivalent
for Fellows who would like to work in the scientific and technical divisions (Pre-award, Post-award, Policy, EU affairs).
*applicants who would like to work in other divisions (IT, Finance, HR) are expected to hold a relevant qualification.
take up to 24 months (continuous and full-time) away from their current research activities.
Other important attributes:
-willingness to work in an administration environment;-have strong communication skills;-attention to detail;-organisational skills;-ability to work effectively in the team;
