1 SFDC Application Maintenance Engagement Overview Create a new field just under Cargo Value called “Add’l Cargo Ins” that is alphanumeric If cargo value > $100,000, we would like it to be a requirement that the Add’l Cargo Ins field is populated BEFORE the Load Status can be moved to “Dispatched”. When we assign a carrier (a truck) to a load, the Load Status automatically moves to Tendered. Once the carrier accepts the load, the Load Status automatically moves to Assigned. Once the carrier is driving to the pickup location, we change the Load Status to Dispatched. If the Cargo Value is more than $100,000, I don’t want our users to be able to move it to dispatched without filling out the Add’s Cargo Ins field. Solution Overview Auto Field Population Revenova Created Process builder on Load object with all the requirements from requirement document. After this we were getting time out issue so for some part of the requirement created Batch class and scheduled it at 4 pm each day. But Still getting timeout issue so finally used trigger instead of process builder to avoid CPU time out issue. Additional Insurance Revenova When a load is built with cargo value > $100,000, a notice pops up reminding the user to purchase additional cargo insurance.
