Included are central units with storage tanks, any number of connected work stations as well as the control of all processes. For switchgear production DILO offers two solutions: The stand alone unit and the complete line solution for an SF6 network for punctual gas handling of the test stations of the produced GIS units. Thus building up a production line can easily be achieved.

The decision for one of the solutions depends on the production volume and the process cycles. One of the strengths of our teams is the qualified and neutral advice or assistance always orientated towards customer objectives and production quantities. After verifying your requirements we determine the construction of the plant and give a recommendation either for a line production or stand alone solution.

Especially in new growth markets stand alone units are provided at first, which can be extended to complete line solutions subsequently. The modularity of our plant concepts allows this option to always be possible and thus creates a high investment security.

For the production of small quantities (insular production) we offer high performance stand alone units.

SF6 Gas Monitoring

Electronic mass flow measuring systems and weighing devices with PC interfaces allow recording of SF6 gas consumption rates at various facilities. Our special database software “SF6 Monitoring Manager” centrally administrates all gas withdrawal and supply quantities. This way the SF6 mass balance acc. to EC 1493/2007 regulation can be easily prepared.

Leak testing units

SF6 leak testing unit, type LeakScanner SV

The integral and automatic leak measurement on gas-insulated components (GIS) and modules is the core competence of these DILO units. Even the smallest leaks are detected reliably. Measuring results of leak testing units are available within a few minutes. The measuring result is always the total leak rate of the test object. A further major system feature is that test objects can be filled with SF6 either inside or outside the vacuum chamber.

Atmospheric test chamberThe perfect solution for large or sensitive components

Due to their construction, test chambers of the LeakScanner SA series can even be manufactured with far larger volumes allowing leak testing of big devices and components. However, the application of such units is also recommended if vacuum sensitive components have to be tested.

Separating plantsPurification and preparation of SF6 gas mixtures

Separating plants

This plant concept allows the preparation of used SF6 gas containing an unacceptably high percentage of nitrogen and air to the desired quality so that the SF6 can be reused in gas compartments. Consequently, costs for storage, disposal, transportation and the expense for new gas can be minimised.

The purity degree of the prepared SF6 gas corresponds to the following standards:

IEC 60480 – guideline for used SF6 gas

IEC 60376 – guideline for new SF6 gas

GB/T 12022/2006 – Chinese standard for new SF6 gas

Purity degree of the reclaimed SF6 gas: ≥ 99 %

Gas mixtures with an SF6 concentration of 40 – 98 % can be separated

Automatic analysis of the gas mixture and optimisation of the separation process

Refrigeration units for GITFor reliable continuous cooling

The essential advantage of our refrigeration units is that the cooling is carried out by means of water outside the transformer. This is to prevent the transformer from being damaged if leaks occur. The cooling systems can be connected to the gas insulated transformer directly and are optimally suited for continuous operation. Components:

With the conclusion of a maintenance contract the responsibility for preventative maintenance works such as overhauling compressors, vacuum pumps or filter units is placed in our hands to ensure the necessary inspection of components.

Quick delivery of spare parts

Wear parts such as filter cartridges, gaskets or valves are always in our stocks and in store at the service centers of our agents abroad. Spare parts for DILO devices are available for a period of at least 10 years after purchase.
