    Dear

As we prepare to wrap up 2011, I remember RamSiwakoti, a high school student from Clarkston GA.Ram became a refugee when he was just six monthsold. When Ram won the prestigious GatesMillennium scholarship early this year, he provedonce again that it is not a crime for a poor boy todream!

Courage, perseverance and talent kept Ram goodcompany in his journey and Sewa showed him theway. Sewa volunteers helped him train for SAT.Sewa helped his family settle in the country andprovided the supportive environment for them tothrive. We could not have done all this without yoursupport. THANK YOU!

Sewa USA provided disaster relief this year to thevictims of Japan Tsunami, Sikkim Earthquake, TexasWildfire and Floods in Orissa and Southern Sindhprovince in Pakistan. Sewa volunteers organizedDiwali Food Drive, Get Inspired internships and SewaDay to support their local communities.

A small sample of Sewa's development work in Indiainclude a Health initiative in Assam, Adopt a Childand School Kit drives in Pune and Hyderabad, Streetchildren Homes in Bangalore, Bio-Gas project inRajasthan, Hostel for terrorism victims in Jammu anda student home for tribal children in Haryana.
