What a pleasure it is to welcome you to our Seventh Annual Female Sale at the

farm in Evening Shade, AR. We would like to start by thanking our new customers

for interest in our sale, and thank all of our past customers for unwavering loyalty

and support. Your satisfaction and profitability is of utmost importance to us and our

operation; and we are excited about the offering we have for you on sale day.

Our genetics, we feel, will work in many different types of programs and can benefit

any and all sizes of cattle operations. We have emphasized calving ease, maternal traits,

carcass merit, superior growth and performance. Once again, we are completely dispersing our 6 year old Charolais cows. We feel like

they are in their prime and offer many years of production. The balance of the female

offering consists of proven donors and donor prospects, bred heifers, open heifers, and

show prospects. We have utilized the tools available to produce the best cattle possible

by: combining the best genetics, phenotype and demand for the best performance in

She sells open, ready to flush!The Charolais breeders and livestock gurus that have seen her lately all come away with a gleam in their eyes! Those that will see her sale day will have the same feeling. Lot 1 was Mark Satterfield and Nathan Reinhart’s choice from the 2013 National Sale as a heifer calf in Fort Worth, Texas. She is a second generation National Sale pick as her dam was the “Choice of the Herd” from Eaton Charolais purchased by Riverdale Land & Livestock. Then Bill Nottke consigned her later to the Fort Worth National Sale.

This Lot 1 donor is one of the coolest fronted LT Ledger daughters most have ever seen with a ton of length, volume and capacity. She had her first calf before her second birthday on 2-26-14, a heifer

that remains in the Reinhart herd today. Her next two heifer calves were sold as show prospects into the M.L. Lewis Charolais herd in Iowa and to Maggie Williams in Arkansas. Her next calf, SAT Gridmaker 6306 P ET hit the jackpot when he sold in the 2018 Satterfield Bull Sale for $27,000 2/3 interest to Link Charolais in Texas and Broberg Charolais in Nebraska. She has another bull calf that will be one of the top bulls in the upcoming 2019 Satterfield Bull Sale, be on the watch for him!

The Satterfield’s have just began to develop her special genetic potential! The future looks very bright for this young donor. Don’t forget her fancy Cornerstone heifer calf that will split off and sell separately. SAT Cornerstone 4234 P topped our 2016 Bull Sale when 2/3 interest sold for $40,000!

She has spent the largest part of her life in the “diet pen” just to get her through the chute to flush! She was Mark & Nathan’s selection from the “Choice of ET Sisters” from Wright Charolais’ consignment to the 2010 National Sale. She is a full sister to the ABS Multi Trait Leader WC Big Ben 9036. We then offered one-half interest in her as the feature lot in the 2014 Satterfield Female Sale and when the smoke cleared Jess Taylor owned that interest for $11,000. Only because I have a full sister to this calf that will calve this spring, did she get to leave the ranch. She’s only her dam’s second calf, and it appears that her mother knows how to crank them out. It’s really to no surprise though! This heifer’s granddam was an absolute workhorse, which was why we eventually flushed her towards the end of her career. She was one of those cows that got to die and be buried on the ranch because not only was she a sweetheart, at 16 years old, she didn’t owe me a thing.

Starting on the Satterfield open heifers with the first of several outstanding LT Patriot daughters. This one is out of the Daisy cow family. And her awesome dam sells as Lot 24! Her maternal grand dam GS Daisy 8042 P was the first female Nancy & Mark purchased and she was a great one to start a herd with. Her first calf was a Satterfield registered animal and she stayed here until the age of 17, never missed and had the udder of a six-year-old cow. As a sale highlight in the open heifer division, Mark will sell this Elvira heifer! He doesn’t part with many Elvira’s period. But he has a full sister that is a bred heifer right now to replace her. Just look at the cow power, every cow in the Elvira family is a donor dam. Look at the numbers across the EPD profile. Her maternal sister SC Elvira 1231 P sold for $12,000 in the 2015 sale to Lindskov Ranch. She then produced a Patriot son in their last spring sale that had the highest ADG of all the LT bulls and sold for $27,000!
