Setup van Dbet EC 2 Version 2.2

1. Sentinel key drivers

Check if you have installed the latest sentinel key drivers on your system. If not, download the sentinel protection installer 7.6.4 present in the map Sentinel Drivers and Tools and install this program.

2. Extended_Key_Server

Install the Extended_Key_Server by selecting setup.exe in the map . The Extended_Key_Server is a 32 bits word program and is placed on a 32 bits machine in the map C:\Program Files\Extended_Key_Server. On a 64 bits word machine it is placed in the map C:\Program Files (x86)\Extended_Key_Server. The Extended_Key_Server takes care of the communication between the sentinel protection key(s) and the Femmasse programs. The communication takes place with encrypted data on the C:\Temp map. It is important to notice that all users on a machine must have a R/W access to this map.

If the Extended_Key_Server is started from your menu the following message should appear if the installation has succeeded.

Stop the Extended_Key_Server by clicking on the cross button

3. Dbet EC2 Version 2.2

Important notice !

Before you start to install save first the map with the old version of DBET EC2. You may have customize some of the files ( e.g. licenseholder.txt, coverpages) and want to put these back in the map with the new version.

The Extended_Key_Server should not be active at installing Dbet EC2. The program starts automatically the Extended_Key_Server. Install Dbet EC2 version 2.2 by selecting setup.exe in the map Dbet EC2 V2.2. Notice that if the .Net 4.0 framework is not installed on your computer the necessary files will be downloaded automatically if your computer is connected to internet. ( 236 MB in the worse case).
