amplificationOne standing microphone (corded) is provided free of charge in the Ceremony Location. Additional microphones are available at an additional cost.

availabilityDaytime events may be scheduled between 9:00am and 2:00pm. Evening events may be scheduled between 5:30pm and 12:00am. Hours are subject to availability. The hotel provides up to 7 hours within the ceremony/reception package from the ceremony start time and 6 hours within the reception only package from the pre-reception start time.

cakeSimply Sweet Cakery or Cinderlla Cakes will be pleased to prepare your wedding cake and many styles are included in our Wedding Package. Upgrade options are available at an additional charge through each bakery.

corkage feeCorkage fees for wine brought in to the hotel is available at $20.00 per .750ml bottle and arrangements must be made in advance and approved by either your Wedding Sales orEvent Management representative.

decorationsAll decorations incorporating candles must meet with the approval of the Newport Beach Fire Department. Hotel will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceilings of rooms with nails, staples, tape or any other substance. The hotel does not permit the use of red or any darker colored rose petals on our ceremony aisles.

deposits25% of your minimum food & beverage revenue guarantee (non-refundable) will be required in order to make the reservation definite. This initial deposit will apply to your future balance. Additional advance deposits will be required and outlined in the sales agreement. 100%of your estimated total cost will be due five (5) days prior to your wedding to be paid by Certified Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check or Credit Card. We are unable to accept personal checks for the final payment.

food and beverage minimum revenue guaranteeYour food & beverage minimum revenue guarantee is determined by your Wedding Sales Representative at the time of booking your event. All food & beverage related charges will apply to your minimum food & beverage revenue guarantee. This does not include the 25% Facility Fee, Current Sales Tax, Wedding Cake Upgrades, Décor Upgrades, Media Upgrades, Labor Charges (bartender or attendant), Parking and Guest Room Charges. This will be considered your minimum financial guarantee, not subject to reduction, for which you will be charged, should less attend. Your actual attendance must be specified five (5) business days prior to your event.

labor chargesAdditional carvers, station attendants, food or cocktail servers are available at a flat fee of $150.00. Labor Fees are subject to Current State Sales Tax.

linenThe Hotel offers White linens and napkins included in the Wedding Package. Additional fabric and color choices are available for an additional charge.

marriott rewards Earn points for future stays at Marriott Hotels and Resorts or frequent flyer miles with 17 airline partners if you are or become a Marriott Rewards Guest. The Hotel offers three points for each dollar spent on all charges excluding service charge and sales tax. There is a maximum of 50,000 points or 15,000 miles per event and points will be processed approximately 1 week after your wedding.

menu planningWe will make every effort to adjust menus to conform to religious or dietary preferences. No food or beverage, alcoholic or otherwise, shall be brought into the hotel by the patron or attendees from outside sources without special permission of the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to make a charge for such services. A menu tasting is included in the package for up to 4 guests. The menu tasting will be scheduled at a time that is convenient to both the client and the hotel.

menu pricingAll prices contained in this portfolio of services are subject to change without notice.

musicRecommendations for orchestras and other entertainment are available through your Wedding Sales or Event Management Representative. Should your entertainment require additional power, a Power Drop fee of $500.00 plus 24% Facility Fee and Current Sales Tax. The City of Newport Beach strictly enforces noise curfews on amplified music in outdoor venues. The hotel will not permit amplified music past 8:00pm in the outdoor venues.

parkingComplimentary Self-Parking is available for your guests the day of the wedding only and is included in the Wedding Package.

seatingSeating will be at tables of 10 people. If there is to be assigned seating, special seating diagrams with numbered tables are available with different numbers of people at each table from 8-12 people with an average of 10 people per table. A Labor Fee of $25.00 per table will be added if there is an average of 8 people or less per table in the ballroom.

facility fee and state sales taxA 25% Facility Fee and Current State Sales Tax will be added to the cost of all food, beverages, audio visual charges, ceremony/reception and reception only fees contained in this portfolio. The 25% Facility Fee is subject to Current State Sales Tax (California State Board of Equalization Regulation No. 1603) Facility Fee and State Sales Tax are subject to change without notice.

hotel policiessleeping roomsA courtesy block of (10) ten sleeping rooms will be available for your guests at a reduced room rate with no minimum night stay. The unreserved rooms will be released 3 weeks prior to the wedding date and there is no obligation to reserve a minimum number of rooms in the room block. Rates are based upon current availability and pricing models in effect.

vendorsRecommendations for ceremony music, entertainment, photography, videography and additional décor are included in this portfolio. Client must notify hotel of selected vendors a minimum 45 days in advance of event in order for Hotel to be assured that those Vendors are informed of all rules and regulations pertinent to any service or products to be used at the Hotel. Vendors must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance that lists the following entities as additional insured:

welcome bagsA maximum of 10 welcome bags may be delivered to each guest’s room by the front desk upon check in on a complimentary basis. If your overall welcome bag quantities exceed 10, or are personalized, a handling fee of $5.00 per bag will apply.
