Malawi, Poland, Arabian Gulf, Southern Russia, Uganda, FYR Macedonia, Kashmir and Tajikistan.

• Provided equipment for Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Siberia, Zambia, Gambia, Iraq, Tanzania, Jamaica and Kosovo.

• Transported Doctors into Sarajevo to operate on wounded from explosion and sniper wounds.

2003 to 2004

SESHAA members were involved in providing equipment to Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Siberia, Ghana, Gambia,

Zambia and Iraq and the sponsorship of IFE Students in Malawi, Africa.

Jamaica 2009One Fully kitted Fire Appliance "Donated to the people of Vere, South Clarendon, Jamaica.

A new Fire Station has been built to house the Appliance.

Kotli, Jammu and Kashmir

• Initial request for assistance from Jammu via Kashmir ex pats living in Stoke upon Trent .

• Pre work undertaken although visit delayed due to security situation.

Jammu Kashmir 2011

One Fully kitted Fire Appliance "Donated to the people Of Jammu Kashmir as part of phase 1 of a proposed three year project.

Bangladesh 2012February 2012 three members of SESHAA flew out to Dhaka Bangladesh on a research project for the BESAFE Charity.

The Project could result in a three year cooperation between the two charities to undertake Community Safety Projects in both Bangladesh and Bangladeshi Communities in England.

Appliances 2013.

One Fully kitted Fire Appliance donated to "Out of Africa" as part of a project in Kenya.

A 4x4 donated by Kent for a SESHAA Project in Greece..

SESHAA 2014.The ex Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Appliance donated by SESHAA arrived in Kenya at the ICT College (International Centre of Technology)SESHAA Chair and Vice Chair have also been heavily involved in the further development of FIREAID which has now received funding from DfID.Chair and Vice Chair are now members of the FIREAID Steering Group. The Chair of SESHAA is also a member of the CFOA (Chief Fire Officers Association) liaison group looking into the endorsement of FIREAID and its projects by CFOA.FIREAID was recognised by a formal reception launch at the House of Lords (Westminster) in June 2014.

SESHAA 2014

The ex Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service Fire Appliance donated by SESHAA at the ICT College (International Centre of Technology) and was involved in firefighting at the Westgate Mall attack.

Students with New York Medics who undertook training at the College.

FIREAID is a group of UK organisations and services with a mutual interest in providing ethical, sustainable donations of fire & rescue equipment to developing countries. Established in 2012 it has the support of members of the Fire & Rescue All Party Parliamentary Group. Members donating equipment and expertise to over 30 countries. FIREAID has a database to track good quality, redundant UK equipment available for donation to fire services in developing countries;a website to give recognition to UK donations and encourage wider membership;Provides a model for ethical, sustainable donations in its work.

SESHAA 2015

• Chairman of SESHAA travelled with a number of FIREAID members to Central Asia, to Dushanbe in Tajikistan.

• The focus was on the response to road traffic collisions which currently cause 18.1 deaths per 100,000 population – a considerably high road death rate.

• A project to supply fire fighting vehicles, equipment and training to the Republican Fire Service was recommended. The infrastructure is already in place to receive any donations.

• The supply of three Fire Engines, equipped with standard Fire fighting equipment plus an RTC extrication capability, should be split between two Fire Station areas of Dushanbe and Dangara.

• Assistance is also proposed for the Police and Ambulance services.
