ABOUT ICLI

Islamic Center of Long Island was incorpo-

rated in 1982. The center serves a rapidly

growing Muslim community living in Nassau

and Suffolk counties. The task of establish-

ing the ICLI Mosque in 1982 was only the

beginning of a greater role that the Center

assumed in the next 50 years. With the bless-

ings of Allah (swt) and persistence of a ded-

icated group of people, ICLI has become a

prestigious award winning faith-based insti-

tution serving diverse and vibrant communi-

ties on Long Island. ICLI is playing a pivotal

role in the education and spiritual well being

of thousands of Muslims living and working

in NY Metropolitan Area.
