I WAS meditating recently to find out from God what will be our theme for 2013. There were certain challenges I saw in 2012 that I was asking God to completely eradicate in the next. God answered and said, "All covenanted ministries (whether individual or church) will hit major storm in their 3rd year. If the ministry escapes that by grace, a greater storm will come against it in its 6th year. If the ministry equally escapes the double storm, it will then qualify for the blessings of the 7th year”. For us in Everlasting Father's Assembly, there were storms that we went through at three years. To the glory of God, we escape them all. Also at six years, thank God for all the astounding accomplishments that we have enjoyed, we also escaped double storms. Glory be to God! So I asked God, since we have escaped the sixth year, what is the blessing of the seventh year? He took me back to the creation of the world. He said, ‘What did the bible says I did on the seventh day’? And I said that You rested from Your labours. So, God said "2013 is your year of My rest". Note that it is the God's rest, not our kind of rest. The bible says that God does not sleep nor slumber (Ps. 121:4). So it's not a rest of sleep. Neither is it of folding of hands. It is a rest from excessive labours and entering into excessive favours. The seventh day was a time when God stopped creating on this earth, but switched to watching over what He has created. In 2013, God will help us to look after what He has created for us and through us. We will supervise and oversee machinery that will run itself. Every system that God has helped us to create will begin to work for us. Grace will supersede haste. There was a time when the Israelites were fighting Canaan, the Israelites were outnumbered. So God began to use constellations to fight for them (Judges 5:20). God will assign hosts of heaven to work for us in 2013 . By Pastor Samuel Obafaiye FOR INDIVIDUALS FOR NIGERIA: INTERNATIONAL: : 1. Jesus went further to say that He is Resurrection and Life, that those that believe in Him, though if they die, yet they shall live and those that are alive and believe in Him will not die (John 11: 25-26). All those who believe in Christ have been translated from death unto life; from the kingdom of darkness unto the kingdom of light; from slavery unto sonship and from condemnation unto justification (Col. 1:13; 2 Pet. 2:9). A lot of Christian however still lives their lives as ‘slaves’ because of their inadequate knowledge of who they really are (Gal. 4:1). The bible tells us of a man called Mephibosheth who was subjugated by his grandfather’s servant – Ziba. It took the intervention of David to restore him (2 Sam. 9:1-11). Our Year 2013 Of Rest Isaiah 65: 21-24, Isaiah 14:1-4 T HE Theme of the month of March is ‘Translated unto life’ and the theme of this year's Mothers’ Day celebration is Talitha Cumi which the Bible interpretes as 'Little girl, I say unto thee arise’. So brethren I am sure you can testify with me that the Spirit of God has something wonderful for someone here this morning. I believe that our Father in heaven is saying to someone here this morning Arise. Arise and take your place. Arise and shine for the Glory of The Lord is risen upon you. Arise for your victory is come. Arise for your deliverance has come. Arise and walk through the doors I have opened to you, doors of favour, success, divine opportunities. Arise for your set time to be favoured has come. Our main Bible passage will be taken from Mk. 5: 21- 24, 35- 42. The Bible makes us to understand that this ruler of the synagogue by name Jarius had a little girl who was sick to the point of death, and he could not help himself, no one else could help, all people around him were waiting to do was to weep and wail greatly over his daughter. I pray for someone here people will not gather to weep with you in Jesus name. You will not weep for sorrow in Jesus name. The Bible says in the Psalm 118:15 ‘The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous’. It is the sound of rejoicing that will be heard in your homes in Jesus name. The Bible says he went after Jesus The Great Healer and when he found Him he fell at His feet and be sought Him greatly saying ‘My little daughter lieth at the point of death, I pray thee come and lay thy hands on her that she may be healed and she shall live’. It was not by accident or coincidence that Jesus was passing through that town on that day that Jarius needed Him. May The Lord never be far from you in Jesus name. In the life of a child of God there is always a day of trouble and a time of need. The bible says in Psalm 34:19 ‘Many are the afflictions of the righteous but The Lord delivers him out of them all’. So it is not about ‘if’ but about ‘when’. As long as you are on the Lord's side afflictions will always come, if it does not come then you better check who your Father is and whose side you are on. I pray for someone here this morning on the day of your trouble may The Help of Helpless will answer you by fire in Jesus name. Jarius's eyes remained focused on The Lord Jesus (the Bible says in the Heb 12:2 ‘Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith’. As they journeyed to his house a woman with an issue of blood for 12 years received her healing and was made whole. I am very sure Jarius's faith would have increased and he would have said to himself ‘Yes my miracle is about to happen’ (I am sure he must have been singing in his heart my miracle, my miracle has started); and as they continued their journey, you know the devil is a crafty fellow and he will always look for ways to discourage and dampen our faith, as Jarius was encouraging himself, the devil raised his ugly head by sending someone from Jarius's house with bad news, saying, ‘Thy daughter is dead, why troublest thou the Master any further’. As soon as Jesus heard the words spoken, He said to Jarius, ‘Do not believe his report, I have the final say here, this battle is not over until I say it is over. I am the Resurrection and the Life, I am the Light whomsoever walks with me will never walk in darkness, I am the Hope of Glory, I am the Great Healer, who commandeth a thing and it cometh to pass when I have not authorised it. Be not afraid, only believe’. I am very sure that at this point Jarius must have heaved a sigh of relief and he must have said in his heart, I have no power of mine own, I cannot help myself Lord but my eyes are on you. I put my trust in you. And the Bible made us to understand that Jarius was not put to shame on that day because his daughter arose from the dead and was delivered to him and his wife alive. In Micah 7:8, the Bible says, ‘Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me’. Your enemies will not rejoice over you in Jesus name. Brethren who do you turn to when afflictions come your way, some run to their boss at work, some run to Daddy & Mummy, some to native doctors, in 2 Kings 4: 21- 37, the woman of Shunamite ran to the God of Elisha Jehovah and received her dead son alive. In 1 Sam 1: 10- 20, Hannah turned to the God of Israel and she was blessed with children and the Lord gave her a new song. There is someone here this morning and you are about to break forth with a new song in Jesus name. There is someone here this morning The Lord says for your waiting he will bless you with double honours in Jesus name. In Mk 7: 25- 30 The Greek woman went looking for Jesus the son of David and her daughter was healed because of her great faith in God. The Bible says in Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of The Lord our God. Psa 125:1-2 ‘They that trust in The Lord shall be as mount Zion which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever’. 2 Chron 2:12 the title of this message is taken from this Bible verse. This was the prayer Israel prayed when 5 nations & their Kings set themselves against Israel in war. The Lord answered them by fire because they did not lift a finger in that war because they choose to keep their eyes on the Author and Finisher of their Faith. My prayers for us all is that no matter what may confront us, may our eyes always be on The Lord the maker of heaven and earth. The roles of a mother or a woman is unending and limitless.

Conclusion:

Prayer Points:

OTHER’s day is our day of celebration. It is a day for all women to rejoice and bless God. It is a day to give thanks for the life of all our mothers and for those who have encouraged us in life by playing mothering role. It does not matter whether you are single

or married, the Lord will make you a great mother in Jesus name. If you are single, the Lord will give you the bone of your bone and the flesh of your flesh in Jesus name, and, your tomorrow would be great in Jesus name. Mother’s day is an opportunity for children to honour their mum, and for fathers to give their wives a rest, praise them, pray for them and of course, give them a day off from house chores. It is a day when every lady, married or not, should look back and give glory to God for His goodness and kindness. It is a day to rekindle your love for your family and to love God more. However, some people may find today very difficult, due to the fact that they have lost their mother or they have not had the best mother. The Lord will comfort you, and you would make the best mother to your children in Jesus name.In Exodus 2: 1-10, we can see here, how Jochebed, went to hide Moses for three months. The reason for this action was to protect him from being slaughtered or killed by Pharaoh. Pharaoh failed in his bid to waste the destiny of God concerning Moses according to his decree, God turned the situation around for Moses. I pray that the destiny of your family will not be wasted in Jesus name. This woman called Jochebed was a woman of virtue and made history by this single decision. She was even paid by Pharaoh’s daughter to look after her own child, a woman of history, a woman of honour and a woman of understanding. She recognised that the will of God for Moses was greater and bigger than any decree made or given by any Pharaoh.

Proverb 14:1: A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. This means: A woman must provide strength and support for their family, must be diligent, learn to tolerate situations and people and be creative. She is the one who wakes up when it is dark (Proverbs 31:15), helper to the husband, submissive and always honour God.

Ruth 1:13-16 13 would you wait until they grew up? Would you remain unmarried for them? No, my daughters. It is more bitter for me than for you, because the Lord’s hand has turned against me!” 14 At this they wept aloud again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her. 15 “Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.” 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 1. made history with her faith: In Ruth 1:1-16, we saw how Ruth was so determined to follow Naomi after the death of her husband. Even though, she did not know what was to come her way, she demonstrated a strong faith. She was so determined to follow Naomi to everywhere and to her country. She said wherever she goes, she would follow. Ruth was a virtuous woman. No matter what happens, a woman should be loyal, honour the plan of God and be ready to stand by their family. Ruth provided strength for Naomi and her faithfulness was rewarded when she met Boaz. Women, you must be faithful and diligent and God of heaven will reward you in Jesus name. Ruth made a great history and today it is your own turn as a woman to do the same. The Lord will honour you in Jesus name.2. prayer life and the ability to tolerate situations rewarded: In 1 Samuel 1:1-28, we were able to see how Hannah was going through a terribly difficult time. The scripture recorded that she was unable to have a child due to bareness. Every form of bareness in your life is removed in Jesus name. The situation here is that, she had been condemned into the prison of bareness in the eyes of families and friends, she was called all sorts of names – people would want to call you names, but the Lord would make you a virtuous woman in Jesus name. But she went year after year and focused on God almighty, praying and singing and the Lord gave her a Samuel. What do you do as a woman when trouble comes? Clearly, Hannah was sorrowful, provoked and no way of escape for her, especially when her husband’s second wife (Peninah) already bore a child. Most women in this situation would turn away from God, blaming Him for their problems but Hannah, being a great woman of virtue focused and prayed to God of heaven. She lifted her soul to Him and the Lord opened her womb. She prayed to God for a son and the Lord answered her in a precise way. The Lord is in your situation. He will glorify Himself in your life in Jesus name. You will not be put to shame in Jesus name. To be able to change your family and make impact on the world, your need to aspire to be like Ruth and Hannah. They provided strength and support, they are diligent. They tolerated insults and rebuke; never despised their husbands and the Lord showed them great favour. The Lord will show you favour in Jesus name.

O Lord, make me a virtuous woman and a successful woman in Jesus nameO Lord, grant me power and strength to be able to honour you in Jesus name.
