We believe that one of the most effective

ways our children can learn to be Worshipers

of Jesus is by participation with us before and after the

Jesus broke cultural barriers to offer the gospel to the woman at the well, in John 4.  This shows how God brings people of all nations to know & worship him.  Our group continues this mission, both locally and globally. The Well will do this through prayer & worship, engaging the different cultures of Cedar Riverside, and becoming aware of the global church.

The WELL:First Meeting will be Thurs. May 22 @ 7pm at Shelby Little's House for brainstorming, prayer, worship, and details about The Well (time, place, etc).

Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead UsSavior, like a shepherd lead us, much we need Thy tender care;

In Thy pleasant pastures feed us, for our use Thy folds prepare.

Page 20: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.

Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.

We are Thine, do Thou befriend us, be the guardian of our way;

Keep Thy flock, from sin defend us, seek us when we go astray.

How Great Thou ArtO Lord my God when I in awesome wonder

Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunderThy pow’r throughout the universe

displayed.

Page 29: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

When through the woods and forest glades I wander and hear the birds sing sweetly

in the trees. When I look down from lofty mountain

grandeurAnd hear the brook and feel the gentle

breeze.

Page 31: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,

Sent Him to die – I scarce can take it in.That on the cross, my burden gladly

bearing,He bled and died to take away our sin.

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And make His home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim, “My God, how great Thou art!”

Philippians 3:12-4:1Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

Philippians 3:12-4:1  .12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

Page 39: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

Philippians 3:12-4:1  .14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.16 Only let us hold true to what we have attained.

Page 40: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

Philippians 3:12-4:1  .17 Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. 18 For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.

Do this in remembrance of me…

Page 54: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

2 Corinthians 9:7Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion,

for God loves a cheerful giver.

Page 55: Sermon notes @ bible.com/e/1MJ8

1 Corinthians 11:23-26For I received from the Lord what I also

delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and

when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this

in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup

is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of

me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's

death until he comes.

‘neath the healing, cleansing flood!

All because we do not carryEverything to God in prayer.
