Series in 1 Thessalonians:“Having Your World Turned Right side Up”
Introduction:I Thess. 5:23-28 –
“Faithful is He Who Calls You”
Key Truth: The Gospel of Christ fosters a dynamic work of
God in the life of every believer and will be brought to completion at the
coming of Jesus Christ.
Many Scriptures teach this wonderful truth and reality in the Christian life:
“For those whom he foreknew he also
predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the
firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and
those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.”
Romans 8:29-30
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there
is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed
into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this
comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 3:17-18
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6 “for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his
good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification:” 1
