What is a “Take With Sale”?• Take With Sale Can ONLY be a Sale Where the Customer is Taking a Product With Them Right Off Our Showroom Sales Floor

• A Pick Up – NO!


A Take With Sale cannot be “mixed” with other forms of delivery ON SERIALIZED INVENTORY!


Take With Sale – “Y” (Yes) – Do Not Enter a DateEnter Pick-up location (your store)

Enter a Pick Up sale. You MUST populate the date of PU (which will mostly be today’s date)


If you don’t have a specific date then enter a false date like 11/00/13


Remember that if you make a Pick Up sale with NO date the system thinks it is a “Take With” sale.


Updating Invoices to RESERVE Inventory for Delivery. The “key” is the DELIVERY DATE

If the Customer has multiple open Invoices, select the one you wish to update


Enter the Deliver Date. For Pick Up’s the Trk# (Truck Number) is always 99. Reason Code is 6.


The next set of screens demonstrate how to go about printing a pick ticket for the warehouse to pick a customer order.

For most stores this will be done at the Customer Service desk, since that is where the printer is located.

The Pick List will be handed to the Customer to take to the Warehouse for Pick Up.This takes the place of the “Pink”. The customer would sign the Pick List and hand that back to the Warehouse.

You will see that the Pick List shows the serial number and the inventory location. The Warehouse staff would use this slip for “Picking” the order for the Customer.

Creating a Pick List for the Warehouse


I want to print a “Pick List” for the Warehouse.

Select 14 Inventory Reservations by Invoice


I am printing a “Pick List” for the Warehouse.

Enter the Invoice Number (or select from SND/Inv. By Customer). Pint a Pick List “Y” for YES. I added a little note for the Warehouse.

Warehouse. Shows Item Serial and Location.


On this order, Customer is only taking one with them today.

This is alternative example of how to create a “Pick List”… in this case the Customer only wants to Pick Up one of the three items they have on order today. I can change the reservation by entering the line number, or I can F13 for Auto Prompt each line.


I can change the reservation to “N” for NO.


Now only the first line item will print on the “Pick List” today since that is all the Customer is taking.


The process for Delivery via Beiter’s Truck Delivery is a bit more complex than a “Take With” Sale, and a “Pick Up” Sale.

That process will be explained to you in another presentation to follow at a later date.
