Di Quon, best known for her role as “Rita” in GROWN UPS opposite Adam Sandler and Salma Hayek, will be sharing her experience and education with you! In her 14 years of acting Di Quon has been in many feature and indie films, numerous TV shows and about 60 commercials. She has studied with some of the very best acting teachers and coaches from the most respected studios and has worked opposite Oscar and Emmy winners while being directed by some of the top filmmakers of this generation. Di Quon is a full-time working actress that has also produced for TV and directed in Theater. When she has time, she loves to teach and coach. She has coached actors into roles on GLEE and THE MIDDLE to name a two.

TV and Film Workshop for AdultsTV and Film Workshop for Adults is a more advanced workshop for adults who have been acting as a hobby and invaluable for those who are considering it as a career path. Learn the realities of the “business” and what is beyond commercials.

In this workshop, you will learn how to get work in television or film which includes the introduction to agents, managers and unions. You will find out how television shows actually come to be on television, learn the different TV genres, go over headshots and what an acting resume should look like. You will learn the difference between indie and studio films and have an opportunity to “audition” and becritiqued. There will be a “how to” and a bit of philosophy on acting in general. For more experienced actors, we will also explore “emotional triggers”, a necessity in drama and will go further into technique.

Beginning Crochet

Basic Quilting

Line Dancing Ages: 13 & Over

Introduce your tot to the world of ballet and tap. Children ages4 - 6 will learn proper technique, development & strengthening of muscles, posture and balance. Tiny Tots - This is an hour long combination class of ballet and tap. Students ages 2-4 will learn the basic skills for both styles of dance along with coordination, rhythm, memorization, vocabulary, and social skills. **Required Attire: dance clothes such as leotard, tights, ballet skirt, etc. Pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, and hair pulled off the face. (ONE class per week).

Beginning Ballet - Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and it provides grace, poise and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Our classes will emphasize the development of classical ballet skills with a focus on proper place-ment and alignment. Students will learn ballet vocabulary through barre and center work while building strength and flexibility. **Required Attire for all Ages Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair worn in a bun. Beginning Tap - Tap is a percussive style of dance. Beginning Jazz - Jazz dance style covers the most territory of all. It encompasses a wide variety of other styles of dance. Jazz is an upbeat, stylish, versatile dance form. This class includes strengthening warm ups, stretching techniques to elongate and encourage muscle strength, across the floor movement, and leaps and turns.**Required Attire for all Ages Girls and Boys: standard dance clothes, tan jazz shoes. All Intermediate Classes - Intermediate classes are for dancers who have had at least two or more years of dance. The class includes a series of physical tests prior to certification. Students must continuously swim 300 yards. Students will also be required to swim the length of the pool, surface dive down 10 feet, pick up a 10 pound brick from the bottom, and swim back to the starting point while holding the brick with two hands above the water. The students will need to be able to tread water for at least 2 minutes with no hands. There will also be a timed scenario to be completed at the end of the course to pass and receive the lifeguard certification. Some homework is included in this course and will be assigned as needed.
