In February of 2012 a 9 Ft. Faro Arm waspurchased to allow for portable inspection ofform dies, and large assemblies withoutdisrupting production flow. 2 New DropHammers have been installed to address capacityissues at the metal forming facility. 6 New LargeMachining Centers were purchased from 2006 to2012 bringing more in-house control to ourtooling and machine shop. Additionally a New5-Axis Laser was acquired in 2011.

Last Section Meeting Recap Many, many thanks to Patricia Lewis-Hansen CEO North America Operations for Multiplaz, Susie Ly Chief Administrator and Jonathan Barillaro Managing Director, Training and Procedure. On behalf of AWS Los Angeles and Inland Empire Section, I sincerely thank you for your hospitality and for donating Multiplaz shirts for us to add to our stock of raffle prizes.

A big thanks to the good folks that ventured Los Angeles traffic at rush hour to make it to our Section Meeting in Multiplaz in Santa Monica.

Those who could not make it missed a very interesting presentation by Multiplaz coupled with a welding and cutting demo and hands-on-try-out of their unique and very portable plasma welding and cutting machine (2 in 1). Kenny Reid, our Program committee Chairman arranged to have catered the most ultra delicious gourmet food. Skewers

of Shimp, fish, chicken and steak with some extraordinary rice, tortillas, and the freshest sal-ad, with guacamole and the works !!! You outdid yourself Kenny!!! So many thanks for your valuable contribution. Many raffle prizes were awarded:
