Surprise! September’s favorites are arriving a bit early this month! I was just so excited to show youall what I have been loving for this first month back on the college grind. September has been crazywith school starting back up, two new jobs (Collegiate Representative at The New York Times and SalesAssociate at White House Black Market) while also still continuing my other internships andcommitments. It looks like my senior year will definitely not be lacking in excitement. Now let’s getinto the favorites!

FASHION

My Lokai bracelet (http://mylokai.com) has rarely left my wrist this month. For those unfamiliar, theLokai bracelets have one end infused with mud from the Dead Sea and the other end infused withwater from Mount Everest. It is meant to symbolize that without having lows in life we cannot trulyappreciate the highs. It is a good constant reminder for me that even as things get rough, there isgood waiting on the other side. They come in array of colors, my pink one is for breast cancerawareness. Stay humble and hopeful #livelokai.

SKINCARE

The Cup O’ Coffee (https://www.lushusa.com/face/masks/cup-o'-coffee/9999905552.html) faceand body mask from Lush is every coffee lover’s dream. It smells just like coffee as it is made fromcoffee grounds. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed, tingly and more energized afterward.

BEAUTY

The NYX lip lingerie (http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/lip-lingerie/NYX_315.html) matte lip glossesare absolute perfection. They stay on for around 12 hours and leave a matte finish that is not drying.It honestly doesn’t even feel like you have anything on your lips. The shades in this collection comein a range of nudes, which is my favorite lip color to wear.

FOOD

These are Belgian chocolate bars from Trader Joe’s. They come in a pack of three for under $2 and areavailable in milk and dark chocolate. These are great to have on hand for a sweet treat since they arenot too big.

This granola is a longtime favorite of mine. The maple pecan flavor is simple, but it adds a lot to mygreek yogurt that I eat for breakfast. Not to mention that it lasts awhile due to its decent size.

TV SHOW

I finally finished watching the entire series of Gilmore Girls and now I can’t wait for the Netflix rebootto arrive! If you haven’t taken the time to watch this show, I definitely recommend it. You reallybecome invested in the character’s storylines as the show goes on.

MUSIC

Coast Modern is awesome! Unfortunately, they only have one EP available on Spotify so they betterrelease more tracks soon. I am obsessed with Guru (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oWtyArBL48)and Hollow Life (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6gq2iYISNI).

Sensation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POyaZooRp18) by Cherub is fun and vibrant. It’sdifferent from their stuff in the past, but keeps the infectious beat and energy.

I’ll Be Your Reason (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2Cu-OS5zhA)by Illenium starts off slowand melodic, but then transitions into a strong dance beat. You don’t want to miss this one.

I saw The Chainsmokers in concert at the beginning of the month and it was absolutely incredible.They did an awesome mashup of Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics that I wish they would officiallyrelease. But for another choice, I also fell even more in love with Until You Were Gone(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRvZe7sY0U) when they performed it.

2. I just recently learned how used coffee grounds are so good for your face. I’ll have to check out theLush product! I’m always looking for new music on Spotify, so I’ll give these a listen.
