Timeline Altered on FBC Website The "timeline" in the historical portion of the church's website, listing significant developments in FBC's 202-year history, is seldom amended. A short addition heralding two major developments in 2011 has been added, as follows:

Mid-2011 1. Following vicious April 27 storms that swept the region, killing nine Madison County persons and leaving widespread devastation, FBC was host to local and national relief agencies which in two weeks brought more than 37,000 local residents through our doors in search of storm recovery and assistance. 2. In August the church entered upon an extensive building/renovation project, costing $9,356,500, which will provide, mainly, greatly improved and expanded facilities for the contemporary worship services as well as for youth programs, and will concurrently join the two main structures into one.
