VALDARNO engineers are applying to this press all the current systems, concerning electric, electronic, lubrica-tion and pneumatic systems. The mechanic details will be checked in all their parts to guarantee the absence of breakages. The press will be tested at VALDARNO site, completely in working, disassem-bled and re-assembled at customer’s premises for the final testing.

Industrial economic recovery is coming true. VALDARNO have several requests both for complete equipment and for single machines from all around the world. At the moment, several customers purchased considerably large-sized presses and committed VALDARNO for complete overhauling, fit for making the machines safe for their

production, and mostly for updating them with the current safety regulations.

VALDARNO engagement aims to render this press with all its features in order to consider it as new, with a realization cost that is about 50% compared with a new machine. VALDARNO supplies to its customers all the necessary assistance for the assembly of the press. The personnel is conscious that suitable foundations are needed, that’s why they are calcu-lated ad hoc for each machine. This project takes about 6 months of work.

At the moment VALDARNO is over-hauling an important machine with nominal force 4000 tons. The objective is to return to the customer a machine similar to a new one. Also in this case, all the mechanic parts component the press will be inspected and guaran-

teed by VALDARNO.

The replacement of the systems besides the press and a modern electronic control system of all the stages will allow, if necessary, the installation of robots for automatic

production.

Several VALDARNO customers ask to take care of the manufacturing of complete lines. In the case of this EUMUCO 4000 tons, VALDARNO will supply and install a complete line

for hot forging.

The main components of this line will be:

◊ One completely automated hot

shear for billets with 140 mm

section. This machine is equipped

with a 2000 kW induction heater.

◊ One trimming press will be placed

after the forging operation. This

press will be automated by an

anthropomorphic robot.

◊ A second mechanical press will be

placed as final stage for the hot

coining of the pieces coming from

forging and trimming operations.

VALDARNO is able to place, or better, to palletize the pieces coming from the line in an ordered way in apposite containers, suitable for being inserted in heat treatment

furnaces.
