WEDNESDAY NIGHT NEWS
Tonight ends our “Summer in Psalms”. This has truly been a great study.
Next Wednesday night, September 2, we go back to regular classes. The
Junior High, Teens and Young Adults resume their usual classes. Adults
may choose between the regular class in the Old Auditorium or a table
discussion class in the fellowship area with the same format we’ve used
for the Psalms. The young adult class will be studying
“Great Bible Wonders, Examples and Champions”.

COMING HOME
I’ve had a great meeting with the church in Vicksburg, MS this week.
Keep me in your prayers as I wrap it up and travel home. I look forward
to being back in the pulpit at home. This Sunday I am privileged to begin
my 36th year preaching in Hartselle. There’s no place like home in the
Promised Land with the Hartselle church.
BUSY FALL—Super Sunday & More!
Many activities are going on this fall. We’re getting
the floors stripped and waxed. We have needed this!
Thanks to each of you who contributed to this effort.
Next Sunday is Super Sunday. I hope you have invited
someone to come with you. No Bible Classes. Our extended worship
begins at 10 AM. Bring extra food for our guests and plan to stay for
lunch in the fellowship area at 11:30. After we eat, at about 12:30 PM,
we will begin our afternoon worship. We will dismiss by 1 PM. Let’s all
plan to be here Sunday, September 13.
Our fall Wednesday night Bible Classes resume tonight. Our children
begin their new classes Sunday. Our Children’s Bible Hour is growing
and our Lighthouse Preschool Program has more children than ever.
We’re having great participation at our service at Columbia Cottage each
fourth Sunday. Our young people and adults are having a meeting about
next year’s Youth Mission Trip. Devos, service projects and outings are
underway. M & M begins later this month with a special one-time minis-
try each month. Our ladies are busy with activities and several are work-
ing on our Ladies’ Day next month. As you can see, there is a place for
everyone to become involved. Take advantage of these opportunities to
serve the Lord with gladness.
