2. Wankat Problem 2.D9. First work the problem using Wankats Figure 2-4 and a material balance to solve for L and V. Then rework the problem using the enthalpy-composition diagram on page 24 of the posted notes from class. How does the % liquid at 1 atm value (i.e., the L/F ratio) from the page 24 Figure compare to the L/F value calculated from Figure 2-4 and a material balance?

(Note: As you will see, Figure 2.4 allows for a more accurate estimation of the drum temperature, while the enthalpy-composition diagram from page 24 of the notes has the advantage of allowing easy estimation of the L/F value.)
