When a person is diagnosed with a heart condition, life changes. Questions come up about lifestyle changes, diet, exercise, medications, and even future heart trouble. To help you recover from a heart condition, we have developed the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Fulton County Health Center.

Through the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, a person with a heart condition can learn valuable exercise techniques, practical lifestyle changes to improve one’s health, and timely educational programs on topics such as:

healthy heart. Phase I starts while a patient is still in the hospital. Phase II is an intensive outpatient program that begins soon after discharge from the hospital. Phase III is an ongoing maintenance program to encourage life-long heart disease management.

The Cardiac Rehab Program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation to insure our cardiac rehab program meets national standards. To find out more, contact our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department at 419-330-2692.
