I need advice, please!

I can understand why you turn to me for advice. Mymain concern are your sheep. While the hens mighthave a large enough space to roam around in, butthe sheep will have a feeling of beinglandlocked. Given a choice many sheep andespecially young lams would prefer life to death.Maybe it is time for you to move on, and set thesheep free? You can produce a massive amount ofveg on the land the sheep previously used. (If youwish to farm vegan organically you must firstremove all the sheep manure.)

I am NOT semi!

Your letter made me cry myself to sleep. I can onlydo my best, but if my best is not good enough, whatis? I will look up Motorcycle magazine to see ifthey print info on cars, but how it relates to me I ammore unsure about, as I do not like motorcycles. ButI am willing to take a short term interest in it.

Short letter!

I do hope you get round to writing something. Somany people would love to read your views, but Ifully understand if you do not have time to dot themdown.

I was going to give this issue away for free, but the cost is to high. While the last issue cost 32p to print per copy, this one cost £1.62! Itactually cost more to print this issue than the Vegan Views book withover 200 pages! Weird!

Text: Knut Caspari

So I have decided to be sensible. I will sell subscriptions and thenonce in a while I will publish a big book, which will be sold cheaplyor given away for free. It will look like the Vegan Views book I

published and contain the best articles from this magazine and maybeother articles that come my way.

Cohousing in Britain

We also gave some room on the stall to Knut, theex-editor of the ever popular Vegan Viewsmagazine for his new project. Now bear in mindKnut comes from Norway, but he named his newmagazine The semi-vegan! Now before yousend an email off to me complaining, its himthat named it & yes it is awful! The magazineitself follows a similar format to Vegan Views, but one article did have honey in it (as oneperson said Why not use golden syrup?).

I think you, being much brighter than Knut,

should be able to come up with a better namethan The semi-vegan!, so Ill set you achallenge! Send Knut a new magazine name [email protected] with the subject titleA better name for your magazine & if he picksthat name you will win a DVD I will send you &any other goodies we can find. This is open toanyone in any country, help out poor old Knut, get his magazine a decent title.

So what are you waiting for, get your thinkingcaps on & win some goodies!

Whilst waiting, and waiting for someone(anyone!) to come and help take photos, Iadmired these mountain sheep across thevalley. They are the ultimate climbers, leavinghumans for dead. I watched one fearlesslytraverse the face of an almost-cliff to reach asmall grassy ledge where it continued to graze.

Finally, after a freezing half hour waiting, anentire group of about 15 undergrad guysappeared. They took some pics for me, and thenall had a go themselves! They loved it, as dideveryone I met! Some of them had never evenironed before!!

I am more concerned with liberating myselfthan with liberating animals (not that this isntworthwhile) and I believe that such a generalliberation of people is a necessary conditionbefore all the worthwhile causes such asveganism become redundant.
