What is semi permanent make up?SPMU, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing is

beautifully applied make up with 24/7 results. The procedure

involves implanting tiny particles of coloured pigment beneath the

surface of the skin, much like a tattoo, to create

make up looks that lasts.

Your clients will be able to throw away their eyebrow pencils, have a

perfectly applied eyeliner every day and lips that look fuller and

more youthful. Its a must-have for clients who want easy 24 hour a

day beauty and confidence.

Advances in the industry now mean that SPMU has choices as well

as answers. From soft powdered effect eyebrows to single hair

replication, luscious lips in an array of colours giving definition and

Your course comprises of a total of 6 days. Day 6 will be a workshop of your choice where you can meet and

network with other likeminded professionals.

Cosmetic tattooing treatments

The table below is based on a 5 day week with one technician charging a procedure price of £400 for a set of brows.

Each procedure will require a total of 2 treatments to achieve the perfect end result. A treatment price is therefore costed at £200 in the table below.

Cost per treatment in consumable goods is £20. This includes trolley set-up, needle andpigment.

Profit per treatment is £180.

teaching you to work across brows, eyes and lips

to the highest possible standards.

This course is the entry point for individuals who either wish to

set up their own cosmetic tattoo business or who would like to

enhance the treatments already offered at a salon or clinic.

You do not need to have any prior experience but a creative flare,

an eye for detail and a desire to succeed will stand you in good

stead on your way to an exciting and profitable career.

Finishing Touches offer you the flexibility of location and date,

the dedication of never more than 2 trainees per trainer and

unrivalled customer support.

This course will take you from complete novice to fully confident,

certified technician with a training school you can believe in.

Courses and kits start from £6,900.00+VAT. All we require today is a

£500 deposit to secure your place and you are well on your way to

starting your new career. Finance packages are available (see page

SPMU Diploma Course 6 days: £4,450+VAT

OverviewA diploma course in SPMU will teach you how to create beautiful eyeliners, hairstroke, block or powder effecteyebrows and definition and colour for lips. The course is a balance of theory, demonstrations and practical workon both practice materials and models.

Our trainers and support team are well educated, approachable and renowned for the genuine care and attention given to our customers. We hold regular professional development seminars for our trainers who havetravelled and trained to ensure we develop and teach you the very latest techniques. All of our trainers run their ownsuccessful clinics so you can feel reassured that they understand how it feels to take the first steps into this industry.

Everybody who chooses Finishing Touches will receive first class ongoing support from our professional headoffice team.

Running orderThe course lasts a total of 6 days plus home study prior to commencing the course.

Pre-learning: You will be sent a manual once you have booked your course, with all elements of generalinformation that you will need to know prior to starting day 1. We would expect you to spend a minimum of 8-12 hours covering this material.Day 1: Theory, drawing, demonstrations and practice on fake skin.Days 2-4: Hands-on practical (brows and eyes), theory in motion, re-cap and evaluation of learning.Day 5: Half day assessment and half day lips. Day 6: Colour & Needle Selection Workshop (this is only applicable if you have purchased a kit).

NanoThe Nano is an ideal starter machine or a perfect secondmachine for a busy technician. It is the machine of preferencefor cosmetic digital skin needling. The Nano uses the samePrecision handpiece which allows access to the full range ofsafety cartridge needles. Small, compact and easily transported,it is suitable for light use procedures (except in operating theatres).

Our ND Brows course has been written for microblading technicians that want to ‘go digital’ and further theircareer. Digital means hundreds of precise penetrations per second with accurate pigment implantation.

You must have a background in microblading and have received a recognised certificate in this treatmentbefore attending.

A technician’s story

Heidi embarked upon her training course in 2014,she trained over 4 days with our trainer Tonya whocovered everything she needed to know and more.She knew it was something she had wanted to do fora long time, once the finance was in place there wasno stopping her. She called head office, they selecteddates and trainers that worked for her.

Once she had paid her deposit she contacted herlocal council to arrange her licence and clinical wastecollection. She had a premises to work from and hadmade contact with local salons for potential room hire.

She was ready to go!

Training started with theory, practice and lots ofquestions. Model after model came and went andher confidence and ability grew with each procedure. Heidi said:

“ I can’t believe how much I have learnt.

We came in here Monday never having

tattooed before and look at me now! ”

Day 4 came around quickly and Heidi contacted herinsurance company to activate her case studyinsurance (a very important job ticked off the list!).

Six weeks and 12 case studies later, her family andfriends were looking fantastic and she was ready tobe assessed. Your case studies are a launch pad for your marketing campaigns. Word of mouth is apowerful tool.

Choose your case studies carefully and if you havefound a salon owner that is interested in you offeringprocedures through her salon, offer the girls that work there reduced rate treatments which will helpyou further to launch your marketing and future customer base.

The foundation of a good technician is havingconfidence. Finishing Touches refer to the first yearas your apprenticeship and encourage you to build avaried portfolio and learn to evaluate and improve your own work.


Heidi shares her tips with you on starting her new career

Your school should also offer ongoing learningopportunities and support. While your confidence isbuilding you will need a knowledgeable andencouraging mentor.

How do I get a licence?

Contact your local council, tell them your plans and they will put you in touch with the right department. They

will also be able to help you with clinical waste collection.

When do I activate my insurance?

Day 4 of your training course! You will be given all the info and forms by your trainer. It’s important this is in

place so you can start your case studies while it's all fresh in your mind.

How do I choose my dates?

Simply contact head office. They will help you to find a course with dates that work for you!

How do I pay?

All we need is a £500 deposit, the rest is payable 2 weeks before the start of your course.
