Fees Information

Tuition fee calculation is based on regulatory requirements for fees for government funded training in Victoria. This is determined by the Higher Education and Skills Group. All courses are subject to eligibility requirements.

Concession: student holds current concession card and is eligible for a Higher Education and Skills Group subsidised training place.

Full fee: student does not hold a concession card, but is eligible for a Higher Education and Skills Group subsidised training place.

Fee exemptions are available for financial hardship.

Develop Your Skills to Teach iPads to Seniors

Are you a senior member of our community? Would you like to learn how to assist other seniors to de-velop their skills in the use of iPads?

PRACE (Preston Reservoir Adult Community Education) is seeking 16 senior volunteers throughout the commu-nity to support senior groups with learning how to use an iPad. They will provide a training course to further your own skills in training and in the use of iPads.

The course will commence in February 2017 (days and times to be decided). By the end of course you will be able to show people: • how to move around the iPad • useful apps • how to use Skype to talk to friends and family overseas for free • connecting up (WiFi, Airdrop) • how to adjust personal settings

Entry Requirements:

You will be 16 – 19 years of age.

Course

Description:

Foundation VCAL is the equivalent of year 11.

Intermediate VCAL is the equivalent of year 12.

The course includes Literacy, Oral Communication,

Numeracy, Personal Development, Work Related

Skills and Units from Certificate II courses. You will

be provided with breakfast and lunch daily. You will

complete a work placement, go on camp and go on

many excursions.

Pathway: After completing VCAL you can go on to further

education and training, apprenticeship, traineeship

or full time work. All students completing VCAL at

PRACE will be given preference into any of our

other courses.
