How to Sell?

Here are the simple steps you need to take for Listing and Selling a new item: Click on Sell an Item to start listing your items.

Now it's easy to find your item type (Category)

1. In the "Select Category" Page, you have a new option to find your item type, b y searching for whatever related to the item you want to sell. When you get the search results, you'll find the most related item types found based on your search criteria.

2. Click on the item type, and select the item you want to sell from the list that will appear below.

• Enhanced and Improved Category Tree. You can narrow the list contents by searching for any keyword instead of scrolling to find your category.

• Pick your item: It is important that you select the right catalogue for your item. As per listing policies of Souq.com if you could not find a match, we suggest you list a new item.

• Describe your item: Listing the item manually will require you to put the product title and the description.

• You can select many images and upload them at once and you can also drag and drop them on the page, and the uploader will start uploading your images immediately.

• Describe the item: Select the condition, quantity and price. You can use the offer note if you are offering warranty or key notes.

• We introduced the "Seller Helper", which guides you to fill an accurate information about the product and the offer during the listing process.

• Offer Details: Specify the condition, stock quantity and provide the selling price that you want to sell your item for. You can use the offer note if you are offering warranty or key notes.

• Set the shipping and handling options: Add/update your shipping details from which courier will pick up the item. You may as well select your handling time and choose from the Offer Enhancements for better exposure.

• Review and confirm the listing: Review the information you have entered to make sure that your listing will appear as you want it to.

How to ship?

Confirm the order as soon as you have been notified that your item has been sold on the site.

Print the shipping label and attach it in the package.

Courier will contact you to arrange the shipment. Pack the item with bubble wrap or paper so that it doesn’t get damaged.

Courier will deliver the item to the buyer.

How to track an order?

A detailed information of the shipment will show once you clicked on “Track your order”

How to get paid?

Payments are released after 4 days of successful order delivery to the customer.

Click the “Account Summary”

Supply your bank details and withdraw the funds!

Go to “Withdrawal”

• Listing an item on Souq.com is absolutely FREE!

• Commission: 5% or 10% of Item Selling Price or minimum AED 5 depending on the item category.

• Processing Fee for each order: AED 5
