Self-feed Tapping Unit Automatic tapping unit RB Three tool holder options: - Jacobs 6, rigid tapping chuck, radial compensating tapping chuck - Multispindle heads can be attached to the quill ø50 mm. - The unit advance and retracts through a high precision CNC machined lead screw, all driven by a three phase motor. The in line mounting of the spindle and leadscrew guarantees a true pitch conversion. - Lead screw works in oil bath, assuring a long life and smooth operation. - All tapping machines have a safety switch (no-hole presence), avoiding the breakage of tools. - Vertical or angular positioning is possible using the universal support SU-74 or SH74.
