It is only recently where I am able to learn more about digital de- sign compared to those who had been practicing since before college. I may not be the best designer nor am I good enough for the standards set by the society, but every is a hurdle that is necessary for my growth as a designer. I am currently exploring more options on how to make my designs more creative and note worthy with the influence of my fellow designer’s works that are more vibrant and playful. My objec- tive as an artist is to produce designs that are not too fancy but will still show the message or what the design would want to say and to come up with designs that will last and easily fade away. Some of the measures that I have taken to ensure my growth as a designer was not of the usual, sitting in front of the computer while designing. But it was looking for a scene, or an image that gives me an impact or an idea or concept that greatly strikes me not only as a designer but also as a person. However, the steps I have been taking are not as easy as it seems. I still need to get out of my comfort zone and pay extra attention to details and work harder. Nonetheless, just as art has no right or wrong answers it cannot be completely contained or encapsulated. As an artist, I too would not wish to be encapsulated with what I know and what I have. To an extent, I strive my best into growing and to be the best artist I can be.

Self Assessment

Being able to practice different design mediums has enabled me to expand the contributions that I can give through my designs. It is only recently where I am able to learn more about digital de-sign compared to those who had been practicing since before college. I may not be the best designer nor am I good enough for the standards set by the society, but every is a hurdle that is necessary for my growth as a designer.

I am currently exploring more options on how to make my designs more creative and note worthy with the influence of my fellow designer’s works that are more vibrant and playful. My objec-tive as an artist is to produce designs that are not too fancy but will still show the message or what the design would want to say and to come up with designs that will last and easily fade away.
