Selection, tailoring and operation of a process model for a concrete project

The Process Execution Service includes a process framework with the associated operating services to successfully and efficiently manage (software) projects in the regulated area. It gives you and your individual projects the opportunity to select a suitable procedure based on predefined process models and to adapt it to the needs of your organization according to the project requirements.

The process models are based either on proven standards or on customer-specific models. On request, we can adapt them to your needs using PEDCO Lifecycle Services or create completely new process models. As standard we support the common process models such as Disciplined Agile Delivery, Unified Process, SAFe, V-Model etc.

Each project receives its own process model in the form of a web process. The custom-made web processes, which are based on the stan-dardized process model, contain all necessary information such as roles, activities, checklists, templates and guidelines. Within these project webs, the project data is uploaded and, if requested by PEDCO, checked for quality and measured. We offer this tool-supported platform as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution including consulting in the environment (projects in regulated environments). The tool base for the Cloud Service is Stages from

Method Park:http://stages.methodpark.com/stages.html. If required, we also offer other process model platforms like Aris, RMC etc.

PEDCO Lifecycle ServicesPEDCO Lifecycle Services support you in all aspects of assessment, creation or adoption of your existing development processes and their management. They serve to manage, create and continuously develop the processes offered to the customer.

Lifecycle Services «in a nutshell»

• Process Fitness Check: With the Process Fitness Check, customers receive a review/assessment of their current process landscape at fixed costs. The check provides information about possible weaknesses or improvement possibilities.

• Process Takeover Service: Existing processes of a customer are taken over, revised if necessary and operated at least in the Basic Process Service. If required, the core members of an existing team can also be taken over. With such outsourcing, the loss of know-how is minimal and the training period is short.

• Improvement Service: Real experiences from projects are recorded as best practices and made available for all projects of a customer. This service also includes the corresponding request management for change requests.

• Process development service: Processes are developed completely new or based on existing standard models. These are then transferred to the Process Service and operated.

• Process Workshop: In a two-day workshop we discuss with customers their process landscape and also discuss/moderate the SWOT analysis.
