Selection report of the 14 th National Selection Conference of EYP the Netherlands Dear EYP alumni, The selection of officials for the 14th National Selection Conference has been completed. We want to thank all applicants once again for their interest in attending the session. We were honoured to receive over 100 applications. Therefore, the panel had to make difficult choices between strong applications. The panel consisted of two representatives of the Board of EYP the Netherlands, Khalid and Zahra, together with the President of the session, Monica, and the head-organisers Jara and Megan. For the journalist selection the panel was joined by editors Nastassia and Matteo. There are a few notes to the selection process. First, we decided to make the head-organisers also a part of the whole selection process. Moreover, EYP the Netherlands is continuously growing, and we are actively trying to give all alumni – old and new – a place within our organisation. Unfortunately, we were not able to give all those people we wanted to give a chance, the opportunity to participate in the session. We have taken note of the amount of places available for officials, and we will look into this for the years to come, as to further expand the selection possibilities. We hope that those applicants that we were unable to find a place on the team for are not too disappointed and will try again in the future. We hope that they do not see this as in any way reflecting on their qualities as an EYPer. Of course we, as a Selection Panel, had to make decisions between levels of experience, different nationalities and gender. The fact that some applicants did not fit that picture this time does not mean that this will not be the case another time. All unsuccessful applicants are invited to get in touch with [email protected] for feedback on their application. To conclude, we have much trust in the selected team and we are more than sure that they will make for a fantastic 14 th National Selection Conference! Selection report of the 14th National Selection Conference of EYP the Netherlands
Dear EYP alumni,
The selection of officials for the 14th National Selection Conference has been completed. We want to thank all applicants once again for their interest in attending the session. We were honoured to receive over 100 applications. Therefore, the panel had to make difficult choices between strong applications.

There are a few notes to the selection process. First, we decided to make the head-organisers also a part of the whole selection process.
