SELCO Incubation Centre aims to culminate 17 years of SELCOs customized, decentralized
solutions through doorstep installation, servicing and facilitation of end user financing for
sustainable energy products. The Incubation Centre will be leveraging on the above experience tohelping individuals and enterprises deliver energy services across India. The Centre will utilize
SELCO (www.selco-india.com) and S3IDFs (www.s3idf.org) shared resources, management
expertise, intellectual capital, and learning over the past 17 years to enhance
the capacity of potential local energy enterprises to deliver energy solutions
to low-income communities.
Are you looking at sustainable means of addressing Indias growing energy
needs & the vital social needs surrounding the lack of same in remote regions
of the country? Providing sustainable means of energy is a dependable means
of addressing livelhoods which in turn uplifts the local community
economically and socially.
We want to create favourable ecosystems in other parts of India & are
seeking motivated individual/ enterprises to address issues surrounding
energy security by replicating successful business models in the local
context. The SELCO Incubation Centre offers:
12 month incubation process
15 45 days of classroom and hands on training
Assistance in setting up operations
Assistance in end user financing and training local financial institutions
Remote and on site help in designing, installing, and servicing Assistance in developing business plan
Assistance in raising necessary investment
Mentoring through the initial stages
Platform for networking with the alliance partners and associates
Cost saving through shared sourcing of supplies across the alliance entrepreneurs
The support and partnership will go beyond 12 months based on mutual needs and appreciation.

> Commitment to social development
> Entrepreneurial spirit> Ability to build a committed team
Entrepreneurial/social development experience is a plus
