•The Nature of Christianity

•John 18:36 -- Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.“

•We are members of a heavenly kingdom.•Who can be a part of this kingdom?

Page 4: Seize The Moment!

•Matthew 8:11-12 -- I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.“

•Christianity is an exclusive kingdom.•Those in the kingdom of the world will not be welcome in the kingdom of heaven without conversion.

•1 John 5:12 -- He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

•A kingdom entered only through Jesus.

Those outside are without hope.

Ephesians 2:12 -- …remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.

What does it mean to be without hope?

Embracing EvangelismColossians 4:2-6 -- Devote yourselves to

prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
