SEGMENT C: ACTRESS 1 SILHOUTTE LAYERING

MAKE-UP RESEARCH

The hair and make-up of my actress, Millie is not an essential part of this section of my music video. Later, in post-editing I will be layering moving images completely over the figure of my actress, creating a silhouette. This means particularly the make-up will not be shown in the final cut of the video making it almost irreverent. However Millie will still wear simple, basic and natural make-up in order to increase her confidence when performing in front of the camera. On the other hand the hair is a more important aspect as the style and shape will be more apparent in the silhouette. I have chosen to have Millie wear a ponytail hair style as I think this add extra interest to the end shape of the silhouette. My actress wear a plain black top in order to make the outline of upper body bolder and more distinctive, which will be an aid during post-editing.
