The Lord has given us an exciting opportunity to be a part of a 6-month vision to enhance the ministry opportunities within our church, in our community, and around the globe! In obedience to Colossians 3:1-4, we’re committing to intentionally and intensely SEEK THINGS ABOVE for the remainder of 2011!

Let’s renew our commitment to CHANGING LIVES as people come to know the Lord Jesus Christ and grow in his word!This September, Wawasee Bible will celebrate a quarter century of gospel ministry in the Wawasee Community. For nearly 25 years, hundreds of people of all ages have entered our facility week in and week out to worship Jesus Christ, then left to go out into the world to put into practice the things the Spirit has taught us.

We have been blessed with a 22,000+ square-foot facility that is debt free on 5 acres of land, and we’re responsible to use it as an instrument for God’s glory, touching lives for eternity through all we say and do!

A major thrust of Seeking Things Above is being good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. After 25 years, our facility has aged and ministry needs have changed—but the mission is the same: We exist to see people transformed into Fully Devoted Followers of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. One of the greatest tools God has given us to fulfill that mission is our facility, and we intend to use the funds given through Seeking Things Above to renovate the original part of our facility that is nearly 25 years old so that we can enhance and expand our gospel impact—for God’s glory, our joy, and our community’s good!

Above will be used to extend Jesus’ love to the poor and needy both in our community

and around the world! We desire to reach as many people as possible with the hope and new life offered in Jesus Christ. We intend to commit the first 10%

of every dollar given to care for people in our local community and to some of the neediest people on our planet in the name of Jesus Christ! We will continue to invest in our orphanage ministry

in India and are committing to again fund the construction of a new facility for a church plant in India — that they too might have

a facility to use for God’s glory in their community! We also hope to send a team to India again in the fall of 2012. Let’s link arms

together and take the gospel to the ends of the earth!
