Pray for Moldova—This July, a team of 7 Canadian young adults visited summer camps across Moldova, the poorest european nation, where 1 in 2 children struggle to grow up as social orphans. Their parents have left the country to find work and often never return. Pray that these kids will continue to experience God's love from the local churches and believers.

We’re right in the midst of fall Conferences across Canada! Pray that many Gideon members will participate in these events, and bring potential Gideons with them so they, too, can catch the vision. Pray for the leaders who will be speaking and training at these events.

Pray for nicaragua—In a country with next to zero Bibles, we're partnering with eduDeo to change that statistic. This year, we distributed Scriptures to 24,000 students in 92 schools. one teacher said, "Thank you, brothers and sisters, for your love for our schools and students." Pray that these children will bring their Bibles home and read them with their families.

Give thanks for an incredible year of sharing God’s Word with the world! Last year, The Gideons distributed 1.7 million Scriptures around the world—in over 180 countries! This Thanksgiving, pause to thank the Lord for the gift of His Word that is changing lives around the world every single day.

Pray for Vietnam—As a Communist nations with great restrictions on Christianity, pray for the growing church that is in desperate need of Bibles. Pray for a lifting of the restrictions so we can freely reach this nation with the Good News of Jesus. Ask God to embolden the local churches to reach out to their own communities with the gospel.

Pray for china—Praise God for the 201,000 Chinese Bibles purchased during the Gospel for China campaign in partnership with Tyndale House Publishers and LifeWay Christian Bookstores in the U.S. Pray that each one of these Bibles will be placed in the hands of a Chinese believer who will multiply the impact by sharing the Word with others in their community.

As kids are dressing up in costumes and coming door-to- door for candy this Saturday night, pray that they and their families will be brought from darkness into light as they read the Gospels of John that many Canadian Gideons are dropping into their bags.

Pray for ethiopia—Today, 5 out of 6 people in ethiopian churches still do not have a copy of God's Word. Pray for the vast majority of Christians who speak oromo who don't yet have a Bible. Pray for pastors like Pastor Rakana Lama who wants to see the Word of God replace the strongholds of witchcraft in his village and in his church, and especially among the young people asking for Bibles.

Pray for Ukraine—In the war zones of Ukraine, lives have been shattered and hearts are desperate for a Hope that lasts. Young men and women are bringing Hope Scripture magazines to soldiers and refugees on the front lines, and risking their lives to do it. Pray that they will reach people in time with the message of salvation.

This month we’re focusing on children around the world for our Christmas fundraising campaign. Little ones are so receptive to the gospel—so pray that Canadians will give generously so we can place God’s Word into the hands of kids who are so excited to read God’s Word for themselves.

Pray for colombia—26,000 Scriptures were personally handed out in Colombia by 15 Canadians and hundreds of Colombian church volunteers in May.
