YUM, FRUITSAND VEGGIES!

Do you know how important it is for you to fill your body with healthy foods to help you grow big and strong?

Page 4: Seedlings

Just like race cars, your body needs the right fuel to run strong.

During Science class, you and your classmates will be working together to build and grow our natural garden.

Not only will you plant seeds and watch them sprout, but you will also learn important things about your environment.

Page 14: Seedlings

You will see with your own eyes, how weather and energy play a key role in the health of your garden and spark the photosynthesis process.

Page 15: Seedlings

The best part about our rooftop garden is that it conserves energy.

The sun’s energystreams through the plants and roots, and releases heat and oxygen into our classrooms.

Page 16: Seedlings

The plants are so high in the atmosphere they almost touch the sun and rain clouds!

Page 17: Seedlings

With your participation in building and maintaining our garden, we can grow a bounty of fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, carrots, apples and so much more!

Page 18: Seedlings

Your cafeteria will use the fruits and vegetables you harvest from your garden and provide your school with nutritious meals day after day.

Here is a pack of cherry tomato seeds to start you on your way to conribute to our garden. Lets get started gowing that next meal!
