The architecture here is breathtaking. You could spend an entire day taking in the designs of old buildings, many hailing from the Henry Flagler era. In this mix of old meets new, you will never find yourself searching for something to do. After all, you are dealing with a tourist mecca created over a time span of 450 years!

Climb your way into history and see Pedro Menéndez de Avilés' First Settlement in a whole new way. Their watchtower is open for tours, providing beautiful views of the Matanzas River and St. Augustine Inlet.

Get an overview of the core historical area on a fun, narrated train tour. Since you can get on and off on a whim, select those places you want to know more about and

use the train for transportation. For a more laid back experience, take a horse drawn carriage ride and absorb your surroundings as your private guide fills you in on the area’s rich history.

There is a Tribute to African Americans in Golf at the World Golf Hall of Fame. The exhibition is supported by The PGA of America, the PGA TOUR and the USGA and details the long, rich history from the difficult beginnings in the late1800s. Learn about pioneers like John Shippen to Tiger Woods today.

Strolling through the Old City, or playing in the sun, can build up an appetite. Not to worry, because dining out is another great part of being here.

Two new establishments are guaranteed to please the family. On Anastasia Island, just over the Bridge of Lions is Mellow Mushroom, now offering Gluten Free dough. Create your own pizza with a variety of Gluten Free ingredients. From there toward the beach is Salt Life Food Shack, an all restaurant across from the ocean. Enjoy their variety of fresh menu choices and a fun thing not to miss seeing is their fish tank that was built and featured on the TANKED TV show.

Take a short scenic drive down A1A to Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches passing 19 miles of the Atlantic Ocean. You will discover the charming seaside village of Flagler Beach that is free of the typical influx of chains and high-rise hotels. Budget Travel recently nominated this area as one of “America’s Coolest Small Towns”.

Your first stop will be at Marineland Dolphin Adventure where you’ll find a chance to get close up, really close up with a variety of affordable dolphin encounters.

As you drive further south, you’ll want to stop at Bings Landing for a boat and kayak launch, fishing, playground and a 5.5 single track mountain bike technical trail. Plus you may not know this, but Flagler County is known for having over 180 restaurants, many that specialize in

serving fresh Atlantic seafood, and some that are award winning.

Stop to explore the gardens and picturesque coquina rock beach at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. The park is great for fishing, bird watching, walking the nature trails, and visiting the lagoon teeming with fish.

As you head into Flagler Beach, you’ll be greeted with one-of-a-kind ocean view restaurants and unique shopping for that special memento to take home. Take a walk on the famous 806-foot Flagler Beach Pier and boardwalk where you can watch surfers, dolphins and whales when they're in the area. Visit www.PalmCoastandtheFlaglerBeaches.com for more information on all there is to see and do!

We made this book for YOU. We wanted to make sure our coupons were as easy for you to use as possible, so we gave them their own book! We even perforated them, so they tear out easier too.

Each copy of Old City Savings will come inside the current issue of our visitor’sguide, that looks like this.

We also offer all of our coupons online at www.SEE-StAugustine.com (or you can scan the QR Code with your smartphone and go right there now).
