I consider myself to be extremely hard working and have attained excellent references wherever I have worked. I believe one of my greatest strengths is my reliability, which is reflected in my attendance and time keeping record. I have worked hard over the years, which has given me confidence to use my own initiative and interact effectively with any team members I have worked alongside. I am a competent communicator face to face, on the phone or in written form. My friendly and approachable personality allows me to fit into new environments with ease and I also approach training and learning new skills with enthusiasm. I am seeking a good career in the Security and defence industry where there is opportunity for promotion and progression I can offer good experience as I have worked in retail and static environments as a Security Steward for Showsec and G4s on a zero hour contract where I have developed a good understanding to date of Stewarding duties and work. I am very enthusiastic and passionate about progressing in the field of Security and safety and can relate my skills and experience to match the requirements of potential employer’s, I can offer First aid basic skills and First Aid at work in Emergency situations as I have been certified in this area through Phoenix training services. My past work experience in Security will also be of interest to the Employer as I have worked in most areas of Security including CCTV monitoring and making Citizens arrest.

Employment HistoryApril 2016- June 2016. Octaga security services as static security on a Zero hour contract and looking for more permanent or relief work. Unemployed with local DWP. December 2015-April 2016September 2014- December 2015 at Empire Security: Security officer static/retailAugust 2013- Currently on zero hour contract:G4s as an SIA Steward on a zero hour contract but looking for a more permanent position.September 2012-August 2013: Call centre advisor at Teleperformance house.September 2010-September 2012 Local DWP Jobseeker.March 10-September 10: Watch Dogs security group.My main duties were to monitor close circuit television while guard the site and control access and exit as well as report any incidents, this position was part time and on a temporary contract.

November 2009 - March 2010 Career BreakDuring this time I was travelling, I spent time with my family and friends in Bangladesh and touring India and surrounding countries. This enabled me to develop the ability to interact with all groups of people, working under my own initiative as well as excellent organisational skills.

January2009 – November2009 Security Guard VSG Security This was working as a security guard at a large B&Q store in Mucklow Hill. My day to day duties included: CCTV Monitoring, monitoring theft throughout the day as well as health and safety for staff and customers, walking the shop floor on set times, making arrests and liaising with police and working closely with supervisor.

Febuary2006 – January 2009 Call Centre Advisor British Pregnancy Advisory Service.This role involved dealing with inbound calls from members of the public. Due to the nature of the role we were required to have excellent customer service and a compassionate working approach. My duties included: Call handling, inbound and outbound calls, dealing with any difficult customers or complaints, offering good customer service as well as booking appointments. The role involved admin duties in addition to the customer service, this could include: Data entry on in-house system and liaising with management as and when required, Ensuring that I was flexible in approach to meet company standards, filing, sending out information packs when requested and attending staff meetings.

November2003 – Febuary2006 Customer Service Advisor Cable & WirelessThis role involved: Dealing with difficult customers on the phone preventing complaints from escalating, meeting daily targets in order to meet targets end of the month i.e. call handling time, assisting new advisors and supporting new staff to navigate the system. The company required us to maintain excellent customer service standards at all times. I handled many difficult calls where I ensured that I resolved customer’s queries in a satisfactory and professional manner, whilst adhering to company policy.
