Things to keep in mind. - Browsing can be done using internet explorer/edge, google chrome, opera, and firefox. - You have to restrict each browser if your child uses multiple browsers, - if you child is using google chrome then only securing google chrome is enough. - However to limit your child to install other browsers on his/her laptop you need to secure the laptop access by adding your child account into your Microsoft account. How you can safeguard your child's laptop, tab and handheld devices?You have to do a lot of work to assure safety. Areas to secure:

Things to keep in mind.- Browsing can be done using internet explorer/edge, google chrome,
opera, and firefox.- You have to restrict each browser if your child uses multiple browsers, - if you child is using google chrome then only securing google chrome is
enough. - However to limit your child to install other browsers on his/her laptop
you need to secure the laptop access by adding your child account into your Microsoft account. (this option I will show on another post)
First let me show how you can secure browser, google search and youtube search in any browser.
Secure Google search.Step 1:Open browser and go to google.com
Step 2: right-hand bottom, click setting and click search settings.
Step -3: turn on safe search and click lock safe search.
Step -4: it will ask you to login to your Gmail account. ( remember I haven’t logged in to the browser to any Gmail account on step -1)
Step -5: turn on Lock SafeSearch
Once done, you will see that safeSearch is turned on.
Now secure youtube searchStep -1: go to youtube and scroll down to the bottom, select restricted mode to ON.
Step -2: click “Lock restricted mode in this browser.”
Securing chrome browser Step -1: chick the right-hand top setting icon and sign in to your Google account to Chrome.
Step -2: Uncheck both checkboxes, as like the picture.
Step -3: Then click “add person” and select both checkboxes.
Then disconnect from chrome and sign out from yours google account.Now your chrome is safe for your child.
For internet explorer or edge or any other browsers follow the same steps as like below.1. Log in using your gmail account, 2. turn on safeSearch and 3. enable restricted mode.4. Sign out from your Google account.
