instrument panel. As material stiffnessincreases, the number of illuminated LEDlights also increases. The system also warnsoperators of potential over compaction toprevent aggregate fracturing. Economizersaves contractors time, fuel and money byeliminating unnecessary passes and allowsthe operator to identify and correct “soft”spots in the mat. Large operator platforms that improve

operator comfort and visibility are the hall-mark of Bomag’s “Dash 5” roller line. A sin-gle sliding and swiveling operator’s seatincreases visibility to the machine’s front,rear and sides. The suspended seat with inte-grated travel lever slides effortlessly along aback rail, while it swivels 180 degrees togive operators direct line visibility to thedrum’s edge.
