“ST” Section parts are made of EPDM sponge seal which is

attached to a black leather-grain vinyl trim with a segmented steel core. These flexible parts push

on a metal flange to trim the interior and seal the opening.

They grip edges from .060" to .140" thick.

“BZ” Sections are dual durometer EPDM flexible rubber extrusions.

The sponge bulb seals the opening, and the durable solid rubber base, with a flexible wire core, provides

high strength gripping power.

Starting at the bottom,push the cutting bladethrough the sealant stayingas close to the bottom surface of the glassas possible. Now, begin pulling with asteady motion ... still keeping the bladeagainst the bottom surface of the glass.Always take care to avoid damage tomoulding clips and vinyl tops. Where there isa buildup of sealant (corners) a slightrocking motion will help. Thecutting edges should alwaysbe kept as sharp as possi-ble. A bench grinder or glassbelt sander works verynicely. After severalsharpenings the old bladeshould be discarded andreplaced with a new one.

For special applications, SealStrip® will absorb oil and swell sufficiently to ensure extra-strong grip. Resists Age - Thousands of applications prove that SealStrip® holds its physical characteristics, including tackiness throughout its life. Even moisture cannot affect the setting. Won’t Discolour Glass - Laminated safety glass is safe from discolouration, because the specially compounded rubber used in SealSrip® will not bleed.
