Steps to follow when graphing using the slope and y-int.:

1. Equation must be in slope-intercept formy = mx + b

2. Determine the slope (m=?) and y-int. (b=?)3. Plot the y-int. on the coordinate plane4. Use the slope to plot other points, start at y-int.

- Rise – 1st always go up the number of units of the numerator

- Run – 2nd left (- slope) or right (+ slope)the number of units of the denominator

5. Connect the points with a line
