    Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a safe trip home.

Thank you all for your time and I hope everyone enjoyed the meeting. I think we all were energized and

hopefully from this point forward we can accomplish great things together as a team.

Attached are some materials to follow up on the meeting. I have attached a copy of the region map

prepared by Bill Rhodes, copies of the letter we signed to graham, and a summation of our tasks and

organizational structure. I have also included the top ten list from FreedomWorks on Grahams poor

voting record, you can use for talking points. And more recently, you can add his comments on NSA and

    Gramnesty to the list.

If I am missing anything, please let me know and I will get that out to all of you.

It was an honor and privilege to meet all of you on Saturday, and I look forward to what we are about to

    do.

Retire and replace, Senator Lindsey Graham.

    Thank you,

    Renee Cannon

    July 13, 2013 meeting summation

    1) First task- ORGANIZE regions- get your regions organized as soon as possible. Have a regionalmeeting. Pitch the idea of uniting behind one candidate, elect a candidate by our own caucus,

and committing to supporting that candidate.

    2) Second task- EDUCATEIn Each region, begin the job of educating your groups, your neighbors, friends, and community

about Lindsey Grahams record. Remember, we do not need to be negative. The truth speaks for

itself. Find creative ways to get the message out.

Some of the suggestions from group discussion were: business cards, letters to the editor, If

    money is possible, Billboards.

    3) Third task- DEFINE qualities-Define what qualities we are looking for as a group in a candidate.4) Fourth task- and we did not have time to discuss thisOnce we define the qualities, we need

to start vetting the candidates that have already come forward while continuing the search.

Maybe plan a series of town halls of each of the candidates in our own groups etc. And plan a

forum for them at our next meeting. We need to have this discussion before the next meeting.

The main mission and purpose of this meeting was intended to be for one purpose; to retire and replace

Lindsey Graham. And, for this, the name above is very well suited. The structure of coming together for

this purpose was to form a network of the conservative community, and not a coalition. This

network can obviously be beneficial to future support and team work on state and local issues.

If we are choosing to form a coalition, this is a whole new discussion that needs to occur. This is a

completely different issue, and will take a great deal more time and thought to plan its structure. This

unity type coalition should have a different mission and name stated.

So, I suggest, 2 names because there are 2 missions here. The first, for the network being built to retire

Lindsey Graham. South Carolinians for a conservative Senate. The name states the mission clearly.

And second, we need a name for a Unity group coalition if this is what the group chooses to become.

I make this distinction for a reason. There may be some groups, that are interested in joining us for this

one mission and to network, but do not necessarily wish to be included in a more formal long term

    coalition.

There are many many things that need to be done in this state. And, coming together can all help us

achieve those goals. As it was stated at the meeting, just imagine what we can accomplish by coming

    together.

BUT, lets remember what the speakers told us at this meeting. Lets remember our mission. We need
