Overview of Cinema audiences.

More than 55 million cinema tickets were sold in the first four months of this year. Anincrease of 14 per cent on the same period last year and the highest per cent inseven years.

The UK Film Council said the figures were proof cinema was fulfilling itslongstanding role of providing escapism during a recession. "The cinema remainsa relatively cheap form of entertainment, especially compared with eating out ora night down the pub," said Mr Gritten. (Infomation from www.telegraph.co.uk)

Film Trailer Audiences

Trailers are made so that audiences are able to understand the film they wish to view.

They also help the to understand the genre of the film.

Trailers are aimed at their particular audience they wish to aim to.

Main audience for horror prefer a horror trailer to be fast pace, intense, scary and give them an idea of the film.

I researched audience data on a similar film to mine which includes an Imaginary friend making a women turn evil. The film is called The Exorcist.
