– Avoid late nights/long hours on the Internet
– Avoid staying out late at night

• Monitor homework and revision
• Ensure good attendance for school and remedial lessons
• Discussion on different pathways after SKSS
• Discuss alternative post-secondary goals/routes afterSKSS
HOW PARENTS CAN SUPPORT YOUR CHILD
3. Mentally– Provide emotional and moral support
– Be there for them at all times
– Consult with school for further emotional help when necessary
ADVICE FOR STUDENTS:
1. Begin with the end in mind (set your goals)
2. Be PRESENT for all classes, remedial and extralessons
3. Begin NOW
4. Use the June holidays to consolidate and revise
5. Finish all coursework by June/July to free up timefor other subjects
6. Work hard and excel in the June MT paper
GENTLE REMINDER…
1. Completion of coursework on first 2 weeks of Juneholidays.
2. Refrain from going on holidays.
