coming school year will be my third year teaching in the MCPASD, and my sixth year teaching overall. I grew up in Stoughton, and am a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!). My husband Doug (also a teacher!) and I love everything that the Madison area has to offer...you can often find us cheering on Wisconsin athletics, relaxing at the terrace, or enjoying a delicious local restaurant. I am excited to be part of this amazing new journey at Pope Farm Elementary, and can't wait to meet you!

I joined the MCPASD team this school year, as a third grade teacher at West Middleton, after teaching for 10 years in Illinois. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my two busy daughters, watching movies, and writing. I’m very excited to be a part of the Pope Farm family!

Hello! My name is Kris Slattery and I am one of the 2nd grade teachers at Pope Farm. I have been teaching in the district since 1998. (It’s so long that one of my former elementary students is also a teacher on staff with me at Pope Farm!) 😀 I love teaching and engaging our students to learn and grow. It is truly amazing. My husband, Jerry and I have twins, Elyse and Ryan who are in 7th Grade at Kromrey and another son, Grady who is presently in 2nd grade at Elm Lawn. Grady will be in 3rd grade at Pope Farm when we open. We also have a dog named Jazzy. love to be outside, active, visiting with family and friends, cooking, or reading in my free time.

Hello Pope Farm Families! I am so excited to be on this journey together. l grew up in Indiana and lived there until moving to Wisconsin about two years ago. I currently teach Second Grade at Elm Lawn and can't wait to continue to teach Second Grade at Pope Farm! A few of my favorite things include spending time with family and friends, coffee and a good book, and wandering the aisles of Target. I am very much looking forward to learning and growing our community at Pope Farm this year!
