PBL

This week students worked with a budget of $75 to plan out the materials they would buy fortheir goods and services. This was a great way for students to apply their math skills to a realworld scenario.

They also did market research using interest surveys on Google Forms to see whatconsumers would be most interested in purchasing on Market Day. Each child created asurvey and generated a bar graph to see their results. The kids really enjoyed using the iPadsfor this task!

After learning the demands of their consumers, students used money from an investor (me) topurchase their materials and began their production!

In addition, students have been earning money in class for responsible choices to spend atMarket Day!
