May is so many awesome things! It’s the month when mothers get celebrated -remember May 8 and make an effort...MOM deserves it! This month the Seaward Press has a big hair and beauty theme, which is perfect
if you want to treat mom with a nice voucher from one of our fabulous beauty spots around town. It’s also the month when two of the Scott clan have birthdays!
We also welcome a new baby to the estate management team: Natanie and Johan, well done on the birth of your baby boy, Nathan Michael Slabbert born April 18 weighing a healthy 3.7kgs is just too beautiful!
In this edition we also have an exciting first ever: they say new brooms sweep clean, and the new trustees have made it their mission to introduce themselves. They are focused on communicating more with residents and it starts this edition. Enjoy the read and we look forward to regular feedback from them!

THE PEEPS | Helen, Ruby, Liya
Helen Millar moved to San Marina in August 2015 with her two little girls, Ruby (5) and Liya (2) after her divorce. They relocated from
the misty Midlands to start a new, sunnier life on the Dolphin Coast. “Ballito has certainly not disappointed us, it is such a wonderful town and we are proud to call Seaward our home,” says Helen.
Helen says they have truly had ‘the best Summer ever’, allowing her spend much needed quality time with Ruby and Liya. “We spent
most days at the San Marina Pool meeting all our neighbours. We also tried out a lot of the local beaches, restaurants and coffee shops. We have personally tested all kid friendly activities in and around Ballito. We are blessed with all that there is to do and see here. One thing is for sure, you can never be bored in Ballito.”
San Marina in Seaward Estate is the family’s safe haven. “I go to bed with peace of mind that as a single-mom family we are all secure. I love the freedom the kids have to play in the estate.

Ruby attends So-High with her cousin and Liya is at SugaBabes near Sage. Ruby enjoys Ballet and is a keen little horse rider, Liya loves her Action Ball. Ruby wants to grow up to be a Trapeze, Submarina Ballerina Veterinarian. At two, Liya already thinks she rules the world.”
Helen has been embraced into the Century21 Dolphin Coast Team selling property in Seaward and greater Ballito. “I now have my dream job and get to join in the excitement of helping people find their ideal home so that they too can start living the North Coast Lifestyle.”
The girls have a Biewer Terrier called Sparkles, who is similar to a Yorkshire terrier but with white, black and gold colouring. “If she was allowed out our garden she would appoint herself the official welcome committee for anybody entering San Marina.” They also have a cat, Roxi. “I tell Ruby that I rescued her out of the jungle and that she is a wild cat. In truth I adopted her as a skinny teenager from the Springfield SPCA. She enjoys water and will follow us on our walks like a dog.”
