About  the  series:  The   Makin’   It   dinner   series   brings   together   innovative   chefs,   makers,   musicians,   and  creators   for   a   special   very   evening.   The   purpose   of   these   events   are   to   bring   together  talented  individuals  in  an  intimate  setting,  where  people  can  not  only  experience  the  work  but  engage  with  the  artists  as  well.  

What  We’re  Looking  For:  We  are  reaching  out  to  all  artists  and  artisans  in  the  PaciTic  Northwest  for  a  chance  to  be  part  of  this  special  night.          We’re  looking  for  innovators  who…  • Create  interesting  art  • Take  their  creations  beyond  their  given  medium  into  the  realm  of  innovating  with  their  medium  

• Are  evocative  of  the  local  Tlavor  of  the  city.  • Work  can  be  integrated  into  and  help  to  add  to  the  environment  of  the  evening  

The  Ideal  Candidate  • Is  a  multi  disciplinary  artist  or  artisan  • Is  progressive  and  a  thought  leaders  with  real  ideas  • Has  a  developed  body  of  work  that  we  can  be  displayed  at  the  event  or  create  a  project  for  this  special  event.  

The  Opportunity:  • Your  work  would  be  displayed  at  a  dinner  event  hosted  by  Dinner  Lab  and  Rhone  Valley  wines.    

• The  dinner  will  be  attended  by  a  diverse  set  of  tastemakers  from  around  Seattle.    • The  night  will  be  publicized  and  covered  by  the  press,  further  exposing  the  artist  to  a  large  network  of  inTluencers  and  connectors.  

• The  chosen  maker  would  be  given  an  honorarium  in  addition  to  2  guest  spots  for  attendance  for  themselves  and  a  guest  at  the  event.

To  Be  Included  in  Submission  • Examples  of  your  work  in  PDF  of  JPG  • A  paragraph  explaining  your  artist  philosophy  or  manifesto  • Ideas  on  how  it  can  engage  with  the  guests  or  build  unto  the  overall  environment  creating  during  the  evening.
