Therewasatimewhenyoureturnedfromeveryjourney with a trinket or treasure to remind you of some particular

place or occasion. A postcard, a pendant or perhaps just a stamp in your passport some small, simple thing that served to

summon up the memory of a time or a place.

Yet there are some moments so poignant, so brimming with delight they can become their own mementos. So that by simply

closing your eyes you can recall a color, a scent or a sensation. A sun-warmed breeze that stirred your hair on a Greek Isle. A

ribbon of yellow silk in an Asian market stall. Glowing blue meridians encircling your shadow on the Adriatic Sea. A sudden,

mouthwatering aroma of nutmeg in a Caribbean orchard. And somewhere, sometime, a smile so honest and disarming that

you could do nothing but respond in kind. These are the truest souvenirs. Moments that catch at your thoughts and shine,

unexpectedly, like precious gems you had forgotten you possessed.

Each moment, each delight, each memory brings its own reward of remembrance, enriching your life with a cherished

    collection of souvenirs.

  • Service with a smile can sometimes seem a facile phrase, shorthand for a pleasant interaction. Yet when

service is exceptionally thoughtful and intuitive, and when the smile is unabashedly sincere, something deeper

happens: You experience genuine hospitality. The sensation that more than merely being catered to you are

being cared for. At that moment you may feel your satisfaction take wing and transform into delight. Our staff calls

those Seabourn Moments, and they are admittedly a bit obsessed with them. It springs from their passion for being

the best in the world at what they do.

We gather our staff members from the best hospitality schools and hostelries of Europe and beyond, hand-picking

the ones who aspire to perform at the highest level. We offer them expert training, at the start and throughout their

careers. We care for them, and they support each other as a team and as a family. You will feel that, and sense that

they provide our guests the finest hospitality available on any ships anywhere.

    the art of delight

And as always with Seabourn, youll enjoy:

n Complimentary Champagne and in-suite bar

  • Aboard a Seabourn ship, you will experience the serene sensation of membership. You will be welcomed by a

staff renowned for recognizing each guests preferences and honoring them almost before they are spoken. They bestow

upon their guests a style of skilled, sincere, and heartfelt hospitality that is at once exhilarating and supremely relaxing.

The ship itself feels fitted to human scale, intimate and easy to live in. Details are sumptuous, yet the impression is less

grand than gracious, inviting and well thought out. Lounges, dining venues and public spaces are convenient to each other,

and accommodations are separate, harboring peace and tranquility. Generous expanses of open deck are just steps away,

with ample sun and shade, in both convivial social areas and quiet nooks, according to your mood.

But what may delight you most is the people with whom youll share your journey. Within a day you will realize you are a

member of this group. They are accomplished, interesting and frequently funny. They share with you a curiosity about the

world and the people in it. You are off on the same sorts of adventures, and it is possible even likely that some will

    become good friends.

There are a lot of reasons that Seabourn sailors delight in days at sea, and all of them

    are good ones.

The operative principles are leisure and choice. Leave your watch on the bedside table. Sunrises are

too special to be considered a necessity. Enjoy one if you choose, or hear about it later. Start your day

when and how you like. Exercise your right to complimentary fitness classes, or occupy a poolside

lounger and peruse your favorite newspaper or book. Join a Seabourn Conversation with a guest expert,

or find out more about some new shipmates over lunch. Fight the good fight in a spirited Team Trivia

match, or surrender to the seductive indulgences of The Spa at Seabourn. When was the last time you

played shuffleboard? (Its surprisingly entertaining.) Or try a few golf putts on the contoured, nine-hole

course. Be sure to save time for tea and a snack. And heres a hint: an afternoon lie-down in your suite with

the gentle motion of the sea turns a normal nap into nirvana. So to do or to dozeits up to you.

    places you havedreamed

Are there places you have in mind? Places that have called to you since childhood? Or places you have read

about, or ones that figure prominently in stories told to you by friends.

Maybe your list is long and globe-spanningthe places you long to see, or see again. Maybe they belong to certain

seasons: chestnut blossoms in Florence in the spring; or the New England coastline when autumn flames the forests

with red and gold. Terraced Balinese rice fields the color of jade, or a gilded African plain dotted with russet herds of game.

There may be hours that seem ideal for some places: the glowing sun barely touching the horizon before ascending

again in an Antarctic summer; or a sunset tinting the clifftop villages of Santorni.

Places youve imagined. Places you have dreamed. Our ships can take you there.

Youll arrive in the most elegant, romantic way from the sea. You can step ashore and experience the exhilarating,

ineffable sense of being there. These places need no longer exist only in your mind. Come with us, and turn them

instead into places in your heart.

    ADR I AT I C & GREEK I S L E S

    ISTANBUL, TURKEY

Step ashore in the eastern Mediterranean and

you walk in footsteps ages old. Time is intriguingly out of

joint here. Threads of empires create a scintillating tapestry

across millennia. Traditions as ancient as the ruined temples

thrive in todays dazzling sunlight. Children skip down

cobblestones worn glossy by the sandals of their ancestors.

The beauty is unchanging: the striking blues of the sea,

shimmering golden islands seen from deck. Slender Venetian

campanili and Orthodox domes above red-tile roofs.

Candy-colored faades reflected along the waterfront.

Come taste time, as multi-layered and seductively sweet

    as honeyed baklava.

  • NORTHERN EUROPE

Summer is festive in Europes north. Seabourn

Quest follows the spring to join the celebration. Around the

Baltic Sea, long days draw sun-loving Scandinavians out to

enjoy the bounty of flowers, fruit and bright-haired children

at play. White-sailed yachts slice across the waterways

between red-painted summer houses and saunas. In

Norways majestic fjords, glaciers release silver tinsel

waterfalls to ripple the mirrored surface. Russias pastel

palaces welcome you to streets alive with color. As the season

changes, so does our course, following the Viking routes from

Scotland to Iceland, Greenland and the flame-colored forests

    of the New World.
