Female turtles leave the water and go to the shore to lay eggs.They dig out a nest in the ground with their back flippers.They bury their clutch of eggs (70-190 eggs) and return to the ocean.When the young hatch out of their eggs it can take up to one week to dig themselves out.They make their way to the ocean.
